Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you want to know before booking your dog's first visit.
Getting Started
How do I get started?
Book a free tour through our contact page. We will set up a 30-minute visit so your dog can see the space, and you can meet us before making any decisions. No pressure at all.
Do I need to do a trial day first?
We recommend it for daycare. It helps us learn your dog and helps them get comfortable with the environment before committing to a full week or longer stay.
How far in advance do I need to book?
For daycare, a few days notice is usually fine. For overnight boarding, especially weekends and holidays, we recommend booking at least 2 to 3 weeks ahead as we fill up fast.
Vaccines and Safety
What vaccines does my dog need?
We require current Rabies, Distemper (DHPP), and Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccines. We will ask for documentation before your dog's first visit. It keeps everyone safe.
Is my dog safe off-leash?
Yes. Our entire yard is fully fenced and secure. We also supervise all play closely and know which dogs play well together. We never leave dogs unattended in the yard.
What if my dog has never been around other dogs?
That is something to tell us before booking. We do careful introductions for dogs new to group settings and will let you know honestly if daycare is the right fit.
Daycare Questions
What are your daycare hours?
Daycare runs Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Sunday is boarding only. Please reach out for current availability.
What should I bring for daycare?
Just your dog on a leash. We provide food and water bowls. If your dog has special dietary needs or medications, bring those along with instructions.
Do you offer half-day daycare?
Yes. Half-day is typically until noon or from noon until end of day. Ask us about availability when you book.
Overnight Boarding
Where does my dog sleep?
Inside our home. On dog beds, near us. Not in a kennel, not in the garage, not in a crate overnight unless that is specifically what your dog is used to and prefers.
Do you take any breed or size of dog?
Reach out before booking and tell us your dog's breed, size and temperament. We run small groups in a home, so the fit matters more than the breed, and we will be upfront if we think a particular dog would not do well here.
Can my dog bring their own food and toys?
Yes, absolutely. We prefer it. Familiar food and a favorite toy or blanket helps dogs settle in faster. Bring whatever makes your dog comfortable.
Yard Play
How big is the yard?
Our yard is a full half-acre, fully fenced. Dogs have real room to run, play, and explore. It is not a small turf patch or a concrete run.
Do dogs play outside all day?
Yes. Dogs have access to the yard throughout the day with regular water and shade breaks. All-day outdoor access is included in every daycare and boarding stay at no extra charge.
What if the weather is bad?
We adjust for weather. Light rain is usually fine. In extreme conditions, we will contact you to reschedule or swap to an indoor enrichment session.
Pricing and Booking
How do I get pricing?
Pricing varies based on service, frequency, and your dog's specific needs. Reach out through our contact page and we will give you a complete breakdown with no surprises.
Do you offer package discounts?
Yes. Dogs that come regularly (multiple days per week) qualify for package rates. Ask us when you get in touch.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for at least 24 hours notice for daycare cancellations and 48 hours for overnight boarding. Life happens, just let us know as soon as you can.
